Where the name comes from

“Әділет” means “justice” in Kazakh.

AdiletAI is an independent company and is not affiliated with the Ministry of Justice’s “Әділет” legal information system (adilet.zan.kz).

The site itself, adilet.zan.kz, is one of the official sources the assistant gives priority to when its legislation database is not enough.

Our mission

Faster work under Kazakhstan law. With results a lawyer can check

Faster

Much of legal work is groundwork: finding the right norm, reading a contract clause by clause, pulling the same facts out of a stack of documents. AdiletAI takes on that groundwork. It searches legislation, scans contracts for risk and fills review tables, so lawyers can spend their time on judgement.

Verifiable

Speed is worth little if a lawyer cannot check the result. The assistant cites the act and article it relied on, review-table cells come with the passages they were drawn from, and a court practice memo has its case numbers, norms and links checked against the analysis’ own sources before export.

Why Kazakhstan first

Legal work depends on the jurisdiction: its laws, its official sources and the languages its documents are written in. We build for Kazakhstan first, and the details below follow from that choice.

Local law

The assistant searches a curated database of Kazakhstan’s codes and laws first. When that is not enough, it runs a web search that prioritises official sources such as adilet.zan.kz, gov.kz, akorda.kz and parlam.kz, plus aifc.kz and iac.kz for matters of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC).

Bilingual documents

Contracts, powers of attorney and correspondence in Kazakhstan often come in Kazakh and Russian. Built-in OCR is tuned for Kazakh and Russian. Translation between Kazakh, Russian and English keeps structure, requisites and amounts intact.

Kazakh language support

Ask in Kazakh and general answers come back in Kazakh, just as they do in Russian and English. Contract scans, drafts, tax-mode answers and court practice analyses are produced in Russian by default, and the app interface is in Russian.

How we build. Five principles behind the product

  1. Sources first

An answer is worth as much as its sources. The assistant cites the act and article it relied on, with the edition date when available, and lists its sources in a Sources panel. If the database has nothing relevant, it is instructed to say so rather than answer from memory.

    How an answer is grounded
  2. Kazakhstan law first

The assistant is instructed to rely on Kazakhstan law, not Russian Federation law, and official Kazakhstan sources get priority over the rest of the web. Tax questions switch to a tax mode that takes rates and articles from the Tax Code in its legislation database.

  3. The lawyer stays in control

AdiletAI assists legal professionals and does not replace their judgement. Output must be reviewed by a lawyer, and the assistant is instructed to add a note for the reviewing lawyer on what it could not verify. Drafts, review-table cells and court practice memos stay editable.

  4. Honesty about limits

We would rather state a limit than oversell. The legislation database is Russian-language and holds a curated set of codes and laws, not all of Kazakhstan’s legislation. Court practice analysis searches public court and legal websites, not a complete database of decisions. If a file cannot be read, the assistant tells you instead of guessing.

  5. Openness about data

Personal identifiers in your typed messages (IIN, BIN, IBAN, phone numbers, e‑mail addresses and, on a best-effort basis, personal names) are pseudonymised before the message reaches the AI model and restored in the answer. Attached documents, document text indexed for search and court practice search queries are not masked. Uploaded files are encrypted at rest, and vaults, chats and analyses are private to your account. Some of our third-party AI and search providers process data outside Kazakhstan; the current list of sub-processors is available on request.
